Keulapotkurille asennettiin oma akku keulaan, ja akkujen latausta varten asennettiin Vetuksen BW312A akkuvahti.
I installed a separate battery for the bow thruster, and renewed also the charging systems. The boat in these pictures is on dockyard, and some battery connections are not in their normal places. Cover of the battery box removed.
Vetus battery watch is a device, which main function is to share alternator current for batteries. It also connects consumables to house battery, but if voltage in the house battery is becoming low, Vetus cuts the power from consumables and gives an alert. I can also see battery voltages from user panel, and switch on and off the consumables. Normally I connect charger for house battery only, but in picture below it has been connected to give loading for all batteries.
I still have the original 1-both-2-off switch on the boat, but that gives power normally only for starter solenoid, engine functions and other driving systems. Consumables takes power from house battery, and I can switch it on and off from user panel from inside the boat.
