Peräsinkulmamittari vetolaitteeseen - rudder indicator for sterndrive

Tässä asennusprojektissa ei mennyt kauaa. Veneessä oli jo valmiiksi sopiva taso peräpeilissä anturille, ja teräslangan toinen pää on kiinni vetolaitteen ohjainvarressa. Työntötanko on vielä väliaikainen, ja tehty paksusta rautalangasta.

This was quite speedy project, since Bayliner had already manufactured suitable place for rudder indicator. There is a temporary steel rod, but will be replaced with stainless steel. Another idea is to remanufacture suitable polymer bracket for sterndrive rudder bar, since I don't want to start drilling holes into it. This indicator is made by Wema, and the sensor is Rod-5.

With this indicator, it is great fun to perform docking maneuvers ! No need to remember or do tests to find out what is the position of sterndrive.

Lämpötila Airistolla oli vain 7 astetta, joten talvipipo ja hanskat olivat tarpeen.

It was only 45 Fahrenheits, so winter cap and good gloves were needed, when boat was driven to its home harbor. Water sprays in sea were about 39 Fahrenheits, quite refreshing.
