Levyt kiinnitettyinä kattomuottiin. Seuraavaksi etu- ja takareunan tekoa, viimeistelyä ja paklausta. Sitten muotti siirretään odottelemaan kevättä, ja viedään ammattilaiselle laminoitavaksi. Katon pitää olla kevyt, jotta se ei vaikuttaisi veneen painopisteeseen liiaksi.

Here you can see the mold. I need to manufacture front and rear edges, and then finish the surface. I decided not to do laminating by myself since this is a relatively big part, and it should be as lightweight as possible in order to make sure the balance of the boat is not disturbed.

Ikuisuusprojekti jatkuu. Teen oneoffina tuon katon, joten sitä varten ei tavitse tehdä plugia erikseen.

Hood for Ankarolina

Bought white Sunbrella fabric, thread and small rope. Used wives sewing machine and consulted couple of times. No worry about UV light for lina...

Huppu tuli ankkuriliinakelalle, että heilahti. Ruma se on, mutta ei se mitään. Ei paahda aurinko enää, eikä siitepölyt yms. likaa sitä. Ei se mikään Ankarolina ole, vaan ihan kotimainen Arifinin laatutuote.

Vaatehylly - shelving for clothes

There is a small compartment for clothes in mid cabin, but obviously, in upper corner there is unused space... for another even smaller clothes compartment. Needs to find a suitable leatherette for surface.

Mitäpä sitä juhannuksena muuta tekisi kuin pientä vaatehyllyä veneeseen. Pitää vielä etsiä sopivan värinen pehmustettu keinonahka Muovikumista ja pinnoittaa hylly sillä.

Peräsinkulmamittari vetolaitteeseen - rudder indicator for sterndrive

Tässä asennusprojektissa ei mennyt kauaa. Veneessä oli jo valmiiksi sopiva taso peräpeilissä anturille, ja teräslangan toinen pää on kiinni vetolaitteen ohjainvarressa. Työntötanko on vielä väliaikainen, ja tehty paksusta rautalangasta.

This was quite speedy project, since Bayliner had already manufactured suitable place for rudder indicator. There is a temporary steel rod, but will be replaced with stainless steel. Another idea is to remanufacture suitable polymer bracket for sterndrive rudder bar, since I don't want to start drilling holes into it. This indicator is made by Wema, and the sensor is Rod-5.

With this indicator, it is great fun to perform docking maneuvers ! No need to remember or do tests to find out what is the position of sterndrive.

Picasso laskettiin vesille 3.5.

Lämpötila Airistolla oli vain 7 astetta, joten talvipipo ja hanskat olivat tarpeen.

It was only 45 Fahrenheits, so winter cap and good gloves were needed, when boat was driven to its home harbor. Water sprays in sea were about 39 Fahrenheits, quite refreshing.
